Sutherland Estate is a boutique enterprise in the beautiful Yarra Valley and is blessed with one of the most spectacular vineyard sites in Australia.

A charming and warm, family-owned working winery where wines are entirely grown and made on-site.

The cellar door is open for wine tastings and sales, as well as hosting events and weddings.
It’s an elegant, spacious and light-filled room bounded by enormous floor-to-ceiling windows to the north and south. At an elevation of approximately 200 metres, it commands breathtaking views of the vineyard, Yarra Valley, Dandenong and Warburton ranges.

The space is yours exclusively and is versatile. It may be set up in a number of ways to suit your specific needs whether it be for a cocktail style event or seated dinner, or in any of the conference/team building set ups.

There is a large bar and a cosy fireplace inside the cellar door for those cooler days, and a spacious timber deck for warmer days to relish the fresh air and stunning views. Lawn games are available on the back lawn and bushwalks up the hill to spot the native wildlife are encouraged.

The award-winning, estate wines are served alongside other local Yarra Valley beers and ciders and can also be matched to a specially tailored meal by the winemaker and chef. Wine tastings, as well as fun and informative vineyard and winery tours by the winemaker are also available.
