Architecture Australia has called it a beautiful blend between architecture and environment, softened by a woven mesh veil and nestled into the hillside in harmony with the original Allan Powell gallery and we couldn’t agree more.
Step inside, and you’ll find a light-filled, flexible multi-purpose space tailor-made for workshops, lectures, panels—or even chamber-style performances. With seating for up to 200 guests, excellent acoustics, and concealed infrastructure, this venue works hard to keep the spotlight on your content.
Art lovers will be delighted to know that the back of house is now front of house, with a dramatic 46-metre glass wall showcasing over 300 artworks stored on 64 innovative racks. It’s an elegant visual backdrop that brings art and conversation into delightful conversation. It’s inspiring meeting decor and a subtle cue to delegates to think creatively.
TarraWarra Museum of Art also works with groups to organise curator talks, workshops, creative team building sessions and more.

Outside, a sculpture walk that’s framed by poplar trees, indigenous plantings, and artistically placed sculptures connects you with the original museum and the captivating landscape beyond. Not your average coffee break path!
The centre officially opened to the public in March 2025 and has been welcoming programs, tours, lectures and more. It’s a space built for learning, connection, and creativity, making it perfect for a business event that needs more than four walls and fluorescent lights.
