From adventure to art, wine to winding down, the Yarra Valley region has something for every group.
Planners truly have a huge variety of options for group activities in the Yarra Valley Dandenong region. All groups are different, but no matter the type of team or the demographic of your group, there’s something to suit them here.

If your group enjoys:

Adventure

Active groups can enjoy outdoor activities such as horseback riding, laser clay target shooting or raft building at Holmesglen. At Rochford Estate, groups can pair up an off-site lunch and with Segway tours and archery – a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in the Yarra Valley.

Groups can experience kayaking and cycling to get the adrenaline and creative juices going along the Yarra River in Warburton.

The region is also home to Puffing Billy. This historic steam train is popular with family groups but also makes for a unique venue for functions too. Private carriages are available for events with a first-class dining experience. Onsite, there’s also the historic museum and beautifully restored historic Nobelius Packing Shed, located within the grounds of Emerald Lake Park. Each makes for a unique venue and a great day out.

Alternatively, motivate and inspire your group with Global Ballooning by taking them on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of hot air ballooning over the Yarra Valley vineyards. It’s a popular incentive and group experience they won’t soon forget.

Alternatively, Healesville Sanctuary offers a variety of Australian native wildlife encounters where groups can wander through the sanctuary meeting over 200 species of Australian animals, including the koalas, kangaroos, platypus, dingoes, wombats and emus in their natural surrounds. They’ll learn about the incredible work the sanctuary is doing saving endangered Australian species at the Australian Wildlife Center, treating more than 2000 sick and injured native animals annually.

Groups can go behind the scenes with an up-close experience, chat with the keepers and even get up close to a koala, echidna and kangaroo.
